Burnette Insurance Services rewards customers who protect their investment. If you protect your home with central burglar and fire alarms, fire extinguishers and/or dead bolts on your exterior doors, then you may qualify for a Protective Device Discount. Extend the life of your home by making renovations to your roof, plumbing, electric, heating or cooling systems and you might receive the Renovated Home Discount. Plus, Burnette Insurance Services offers money-saving discounts to many of our valued customers, including new home buyers and retirees who are 55 years of age or older.

Valued Customer Discounts

55 and Retired Discount	…you’re 55 years of age or older,  retired, and your home is your principal residence	Up to 10%
Home Buyer Discount	…you’ve purchased an Burnette Insurance Services Homeowners insurance policy and the date you would like to begin coverage is within 12 months of buying your home	Up to 20%
Home and Auto Discount	...you’re insured with an Burnette Insurance Services Auto insurance policy for your vehicle and an Burnette Insurance Services Homeowners Insurance policy for your home	Up to 20%
Claim Free Discount	…your home has been insured with a qualifying insurance company and you haven’t filed a claim in the last 3 years, you could save up to 10%. Or, if you haven’t filed a claim in the last 5 years, you could save up to 20%.	Up to 20%

Safe Home Discounts

You may qualify for...	You may be eligible if...	You could save...
Age of Home Discount	…you’ve purchased a home that is being built or has just been built.  The greatest savings are available during the first year after your home is built.  Smaller savings apply during subsequent years.  There is a maximum age limit for your home to qualify for this discount	Up to 25%
Renovated Home Discount	…your home was completely renovated within the last 10 years by a licensed contractor, including the roof, plumbing, electric, as well as heating and cooling systems.  The greatest savings are available during the first year after renovation.  Smaller savings may be available for partial renovations.	Up to 25%
Fire Resistive Discount	...your home is fire resistive or is made of fireproof construction.	Up to 15%
Protective Device Discount	…your home has smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, or dead bolts on all exterior doors, or central burglar and fire alarms.	Up to 15%
